I’m asking because many labs rely on email or shared calendars, but real-time issues (laser warnings, temperature alerts, booking conflicts, or sample-prep timing) sometimes need faster communication. If anyone has experience using whatsapp or similar messaging tools within a core facility or imaging research group, I’d love to know whether it improved workflow efficiency or created any data-management concerns.
