Meaningful development. Ensure if I have enough parts, I will craft anything. And I get SOME parts. For instance, there's a 1/1000 possibility I can get a sword out of a dragon boss. But every time I kill it, I receive 1-3 scales with RuneScape gold. If I gather 100 scales, then I will craft the sword. Some managers in Runescape obviously already do so; I want to see it in some form for each and every boss, other than simply gold farming.Tying drops to achievements: It's simple. You get something Should you finish something. This doesn't include doing X instances to some thing, but it might include doing everything. By way of example,"bring me the four elemental orbs and I'll grant you this team." The items are non-tradable.
Of game mechanics: Similar to achievements, this might require the player demonstrate a deep understanding of the game mechanics to get something. This may take the kind of a difficult boss, having to do something economically as possible, an exploration puzzle or any other skill check ( I don't imply an in-game skill, I mean a genuine mechanical ability ). This is great because any"grinding" you may have to do is intrinsically rewarding, as it's really only training. This would also probably have to be non-tradable, as one skilled player could acquire many items after mastering the challenge.Time gating: I don't enjoy this one but it's an alternative. Lock items behind a wall, which will open at a future date that is real-world. Functionally the same as grinding, except you are able to do anything else while waiting. (Ex.
The one I find that the most interesting, but also hardest to implement.Making the mill not terrible. I recommend Runescape about the best way to make grinding not just.the worst.TRUE lack: Ex: This isn't a +5 Holy Avenger. You can't get it, if someone has it. If you want it, then you get it from them. You may make it so only a couple could exist at a time, a lot more folks could use the things. The key is that the distribution is tough capped, and you satisfactorily explain why. I just find it interesting, although this method has benefits and drawbacks. Think Thanos from Fortnite ( I don't like Fortnite, but hear me out),or some other power-up, really. If you want to be Thanos, you need to kill him and steal his gauntlet. In an MMO, this may mean purchasing it or robbing their guild.
I'd be ECSTATIC if an MMO really pulled this off, but it could be very, very difficult. At that the end of the day, I don't desire OSRS shut down with cheap OSRS gold. I just want it to be better, and less manipulative.Besides, I do not have the type of time that it requires to assert this point forever. You're an idiot. "I'm not misinterpreting the merit it you disagreements," Already the second sentence on your reply already shows the way you misread to try and turn your opponent's debate in a poor one. I don't require a twat like you to validate the merit of my arguments, they are simple as day. This is what I said, and it is true. Just read that because I say what I mean. I can not be bothered giving someone immature and dumb as you a voice.
