Fortnite has brought the gaming world by storm, now Red Dead Redemption and Grand Theft Auto parent company Take-Two Interactive has responded yet again towards the game's success. During an earnings call today, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick doubled recorded on Fortnite Materials what he explained before: that you do not become a niche leader by using what other teams have done prior to deciding to.
Speaking to analysts, Zelnick said he doesn't expect his studios--2K Games and Rockstar Games--to follow within the footsteps of Fortnite Weapons and PUBG.
"I think if a person changed one's business to adhere to other people's big hits, selecting constantly playing get caught up," he stated. "And to mention you wouldn't take second place is undoubtedly an understatement. You might stop in last place. So it's our obligation to innovate, and much more often than not that's driven our success."
