Fortnite Dev Responds To Concerns Over Proposed Matchmaking System On PS4, Xbox One, And PC

The suggestion here's that Fortnite Items may be adopting a skill-based matchmaking system, and therefore players can be matched with individuals who have a comparable capability. Many games used skill-based matchmaking, therefore it wouldn't be a brand new phenomenon. But for Fortnite, some expressed concerns that this kind of system will make the game feel rather more serious in nature as opposed to a more casual experience.

We have followed up with Epic Games to try to get more information regarding what could be changing in Fortnite's matchmaking system. We'll report back with anything we hear from the developer.
If Fortnite does turn out adopting a skill-based matchmaking system, one possibility is this fact is limited with a specific playlist. Other games Fortnite Weapons have "serious" and "casual" playlists, giving players a solution for how they would like to play. It could be that Epic adopts something similar for Fortnite, though no announcements are actually made since yet.
In other Fortnite news, the sport recently passed 3.4 million concurrent users, and that is ahead from the record that PUBG set recording.
