Unsurprisingly, Chance’s comments have caused a bit of any rift within the Fortnite community. On one side, people staunchly accept Chance the Rapper, noting that Fortnite Items makes vast sums of dollars every month from the sale of emotes and also other cosmetics. Epic Games are able to afford to offer some royalties towards the dance creators or pay to license their songs along with doing so would earn the organization goodwill among creatives along with the players who love the emotes a lot.
Fortnite should place the actual rap songs behind the dances which make so much money as Emotes. Black creatives created and popularized these dances but never monetized them. Imagine the money folks are spending on these Emotes being shared using the artists that made them

I would not just rather watch them dance into a real song lol

Recently, Epic decreased the cut so it takes on purchases of assets about the Unreal store. The success of Fortnite has seen this company swimming Fortnite Traps in cash so, the corporation suggested, it’s only right that asset creators benefit by being in a position to take home a better margin with the profit when their assets are ordered. Epic is enthusiastic about fairer business practices, then, but to date this distinctive line of thinking is not extended to Fortnite emotes.
