Alkaline silica sol is a colloidal solution composed of silica particles of different sizes in water, and its PH value is in the range of 9~10. Because its colloidal particle diameter is nanometer (10~20nm), so it has a large surface area, the particle itself is colorless and transparent, does not affect the color of the covering. Low viscosity, good dispersion and permeability. When the water of silica sol evaporates, colloidal particles can be firmly attached to the surface of the object, silica and oxygen bond is formed between the particles, which is a good adhesive and additive.
